WORLD AGAPE MINISTRIES (WAM)
Founded in 1992 by Revs. Drs Vernon and Anny Fernandes. The objective of WAM is to educate and build the society with Christian morals and ethics. In the past Vernon and Anny have been training and building believers spiritually.
They have taken teams into different cities, regions and villages of Tanzania to preach the uncompromising Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Mathew 24:14
Since its inception, to date WAM has established three independent directories namely AGAPE TELEVISION NETWORK established in 2001. AGAPE LIFE CHURCH established in 2002 and MERCY MINISTRIES (Orphanage - Diamond village, & Health Centers) established in 2006 supporting each other in its operations.

AGAPE TELEVISON NETWORK (ATN)

Is a Tanzanian owned Television station. "The only Educational and Inspirational Channel". ATN has its studios in Mbezi beach Jogoo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The aim of this station is to educate and inspire the society in general to see man free from ignorance and poverty. We care for the wellbeing of his spirit, soul and body ... we want to achieve complete freedom for the whole man

AGAPE LIFE CHURCH (ALC)
Agape Television Network viewers began Agape Life Church from 13 members to nearly 2000. A cell based church with branches in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Tanga, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Bukoba, Tunduru, Songea, Singida, Sumbawanga, Nkasi, Katavi, Morogoro, Iringa, Dodoma, Mbeya, Kigoma and Karagwe.
Its congregation consist of 18% - 20% muslim converts. And intend to open others branches in every city where ATN puts up its terrestrial station.

MERCY MINISTRIES (MM)
MM is constructing Orphanage and Health centers in
a) Bunju - Dar es Salaam (Diamond village)
b) Maadani - Dodoma
c) Mabungo - Moshi
​
MM offers: counseling sessions for HIV victims, marital, physical, mental and spiritual problems, five times a week.

MM has a department which deals with natural disaster issues and relief

EXPANSION AND LAUNCH
ATN expanded its coverage by installing a fixed Earth satellite Uplink station in Dec 2005 via Intelsat 906. In Feb 4th 2006 the vice president of Tanzania Hon. Ali M. Shein officially launched this new satellite coverage.

Since the digital move from analogue, ATN is now broadcasted with a multiplex provider, a digital platform via ABS 2 satellite which covers entire Tanzania and Sub-Sahara Africa.

PROGRAM CONTENTS
ATN broadcasts local programs such as children, youths, women, men as well as economic, social issues, doctor to doctor physical fitness, science and international news.
This Educational and Inspirational channel gives the viewers a balanced and wholesome "diet" and refreshes the spirit and mind.
We have reports of people healed and delivered from powers of darkness, reconciliation in marriages, peace in homes, financial break throughs and various answers to prayers.

ATN is watched not only in Tanzania but the entire sub-Sahara Africa (as seen on foot print) ABS 2
